how to make candles

Candles are just a lot of fun to make, and they are awesome for ambience no matter where you put them. There is something soothing about a candle that allows us to meditate and relax. Creating your own candle is a magical experience because you made it yourself! There’s an infinite amount of candle designs to be made, so why not try to make one yourself. You’ll most likely enjoy it, and you’ll always know how to make your own for years to come. You can make as many as you want, and they provide beautiful lighting for your home.

I see many movies in which temples, churches, and other sacred places are filled with candles, and it’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. There is something truly serene about seeing scores of candles around you. Seeing these little flames, and the glow of candle wax while they drip is inspiring. There is something about candle light that is both soothing and inspiring at the same time. I like to look into the candle flame and meditate. I just watch the flame and get hypnotized by the way it sways back and forth.

I think if my home was made out of stone, I would have candles everywhere. But since most homes we live in today are made from flammable materials, you want to make sure that you keep an eye on your candles, and don’t leave them unattended. What’s interesting is that in small spaces, candles can provide heat, and should be a part of and emergency kit if you are in a cold weather climate.

We have another article available in which tea light are used with terra cotta pots to create a good amount of heat! Check that out if you want to make yourself a homemade space heater.
